Benjamin Hagberg

Benjamin Hagberg has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on strategic insights, commercial operations, and analytics. Benjamin currently holds the position of Group Vice President, Commercial Operations and Portfolio Insights at Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, where they have been since July 2022. Prior to this, they served as Vice President, Global Strategic Insights and Commercial Operations at the same company from August 2019 to August 2022. Before joining Kiniksa Pharmaceuticals, Benjamin worked at Bioverativ, a Sanofi company, as the Executive Director of Decision Support (Insights & Analytics) from February 2017 to January 2019. Benjamin also held roles at Biogen and Biogen Idec, where they focused on business insights, analytics, and market research. Benjamin started their career at LECG as a research analyst, later progressing to roles such as associate and senior associate, where they worked on economic tests and analysis related to the electricity market. Benjamin holds an MBA from UCLA Anderson School of Management and gained finance internship experience at Amgen.

Benjamin Hagberg pursued their education starting from 2001 to 2005 at Bates College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. During their time at Bates College, Benjamin focused on studying Economics and History. Following this, from 2009 to 2011, they attended the UCLA Anderson School of Management, where they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Finance and Strategy.
