Roland Dreyer has over 25 years of work experience in the finance and accounting field. Roland started their career at Town Shoes Limited as a Controller in 1994 and later moved on to become the Director of Finance at Hudson's Bay Company and Home Outfitters. In 2005, Roland joined Wal-Mart Canada where they held the position of Corporate Controller and Director of Finance. Roland was responsible for overseeing a team of over 120 people and managing various accounting and reporting functions. Roland then joined Lowe's Companies Canada as the Director of Finance before joining Canada Goose as the Director of Finance Services. At Canada Goose, they led and managed financial operations, improved process efficiency through system automation, and handled leasing arrangements and the company's travel plan. In 2015, Roland founded R J Dreyer Consulting where they worked as a Consultant until 2019. Currently, they serve as the Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Staff at Kinka Family, and prior to this, they held the position of VP of Finance and Accounting.

Roland Dreyer CPA CA obtained their Chartered Accountant certification from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada) in 1991. Prior to that, they completed their Chartered Accountant education at The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1988. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm) degree with a focus on Finance and Accounting - CA from the University of the Witwatersrand. Additionally, they also hold a Bachelor of Accountancy (B. Acc) degree with a specialization in Accounting from the same university.
