Melanie Kurk

Melanie Kurk is a seasoned tax professional with extensive experience in taxation and treasury operations. Currently serving as Director of US Tax at Kinross Gold Corporation since November 2021, Melanie previously held the title of Director of Taxation and Treasury at Votorantim Cimentos North America from September 2015 to November 2021, overseeing tax and treasury functions for North American operations. Prior to that, Melanie worked at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Toronto as a US Corporate Tax Senior Manager, specializing in U.S. tax matters for over 21 years. Melanie's career also includes roles as Tax Manager at LDI Corporation and Tax Accountant at Arthur Andersen & Co. Melanie holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Baldwin Wallace University and a Master's Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University.
