Vladimir Shepel

Vladimir Shepel is an experienced professional in maintenance management and planning within the mining and industrial sectors. Currently serving as the Deputy MEM Manager at Kinross Gold Corporation since February 2021, Vladimir has previously held various roles, including MEM Superintendent and HMUE Superintendent focused on mobile maintenance. Prior experience includes a position as Superintendent of Maintenance Planning and Workforce Transport at First Quantum Minerals and multiple roles at Kinross Gold Corporation from 2012 to 2019, culminating in Deputy Maintenance Superintendent. Vladimir's early career includes positions at Baltika Breweries, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, and a family business, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in State and Municipal Management from North-East State University and a diploma in Mining Machines and Equipment from Irkutsk National Research Technical University.
