Craig Williams has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles.
Craig began their career in 1983 at Genesys Software Systems, where they served as a Product Manager, responsible for setting the product direction and roadmap for a mainframe HRMS vendor.
Craig then joined Wang Laboratories in 1986 as a Project Manager.
In 1990, they moved to Deloitte Consulting as a Senior Consultant.
In 1991, they joined Gillette and worked as the Manager of Systems Strategy and Planning for Corporate Human Resources. Craig developed strategies for SAP HR European rollout, Corporate HR intranet development, and executive compensation systems.
From 1999 to 2009, Craig worked at Capital One, serving in various roles including Business Information Officer, Enterprise Architect, Architecture Director, and Enterprise Architect. Craig'sresponsibilities included managing architecture and technology strategy for workplace technologies and directing strategy and architecture for "IT as a Business".
Craig then joined Hanover County in 2009 as a Division Director, Information Technology. Craig oversaw customer-facing services, managed business applications, and took part in the redesign of the county's website and implementation of various systems.
In 2015, they joined Impact Makers as a Lead Consultant, Advisory Services. Craig managed the Capital Markets application and project portfolio, overseeing the development of mapping websites and upgrading the investor portal.
Currently, Craig is working at Kinsale Insurance as the Director of Portfolio Planning and Delivery. Prior to this role, they served as the Director of Delivery Maturity and Agile Portfolio Lead/Coach.
Craig has a strong background in technology, project management, and strategy, with extensive experience in various industries.
Craig Williams holds an MBA in General Business from Virginia Commonwealth University - School of Business, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. Additionally, they earned a BA in Economics from Gordon College between 1974 and 1978. Craig Williams has also obtained several certifications from Scaled Agile, Inc., including Certified SAFe® 6 Practice Consultant and Certified SAFe® 6 SPC in 2023, Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant in 2020, SAFe Program Consultant (SPC4) in 2017, and SAFe Agilist (SAFe 4.0) in 2016.
