Samantha Gurrie

Samantha Gurrie is an accomplished Editor-in-Chief and Content and Creative Director at Kinship since March 2021, leading initiatives for The Wildest and Adopt a Pet, which focus on providing valuable resources for pet owners and facilitating pet adoption. Previously, Samantha served as Director at The Sato Project from March 2015 to March 2021, overseeing the placement of 1,500 animals annually and managing a team of 50 volunteers across multiple regions. Samantha's extensive freelance experience as a writer and editor includes work for prominent brands and the co-founding of Four&Sons, a dog-themed publication that garnered international recognition. From 2005 to 2010, Samantha was a Senior Editor at Nylon Magazine, where responsibilities included managing editorial content and social media strategy. Samantha holds a Bachelor of Science in Journalism from Fordham University and continued education at the Humane Society University.
