Cole Y. has work experience in various engineering and operational roles. Cole started in 2016 as a Farm Hand at Gingerich Farm, where they worked until 2017. In 2018, they worked as an Operator at Pro Grower Solutions, where they operated forklifts, delivered seed and chemicals, and assisted with swine operations. In 2019, Cole worked as a Test Engineering Intern at Kinze Manufacturing, Inc., where they operated equipment in the field, analyzed data, and collaborated with design and software teams. In 2021, they joined Danfoss Power Solutions as a Product Engineering Intern before transitioning to their current role as an Associate Test Engineer at Kinze Manufacturing, Inc.

Cole Y. attended Hillcrest Academy in Iowa from 2013 to 2017. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or pursue any specific field of study. Following their time at Hillcrest Academy, Cole went on to attend Iowa State University from 2017 to 2021. At Iowa State, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering.
