Peter Schwab

Peter Schwab is a Senior Advisor and Member of the Investment Committee at Kinzie Capital Partners, where he assists in the development of Kinzie’s team and the sourcing and execution of investments. In addition, Peter advises on investment evaluation, assisting with transaction execution, providing value-added oversight to portfolio companies, and helping the team with strategy execution.

With over 40 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and advisory services, Peter has served as a longtime counselor to Kinzie and an Advisory Board Member. Previously, he was Managing Director and a Group Head at Piper Jaffray, Senior Managing Director at Macquarie Capital in Restructuring, President of Ernst & Young Corporate Finance, LLC (Investment Bank), and Head of Consumer/Retail for Capital Advisory, also at Ernst & Young.

Peter serves as a Board Member of Kinzie portfolio companies Colony Display and Chelsea Lighting, Compressor Engineering Corp, The VMC Group, Lupus Foundation of America, and Canine Companions for Independence, as well as an Advisory Board Member of the Jones School at Rice University.

Peter earned his B.A. in Economics and Russian from Rice University, and is a graduate of the Jones School of Business at Rice University.
