Francisco Valencia

Francisco Valencia has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Starting with their most recent position at KIO Networks, they serve as the CyberSec/Cloud/IT Services Product Innovation Director, responsible for developing and improving products and services related to cybersecurity, cloud computing, and information technology systems management.

Prior to their current role, Francisco held multiple positions at KIO Networks from 2010 to 2017. Francisco served as the Interim Head of the Cloud Services Business Unit, Product Manager Director, CEO's Strategic Projects Manager, and Service Delivery Manager.

Before joining KIO Networks, Francisco worked at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services as an Enterprise Program Manager and Transformation Manager from 2007 to 2010. Francisco also worked at Electronic Data Systems (EDS Mexico) as a Solution Architect from 2003 to 2007.

In addition, Francisco has prior experience at Softtek as a Near Shore Project Leader from 1999 to 2001, at Servicios Corporativos TMM as an Infrastructure Technology Coordinator from 1996 to 1999, and at Telesistema Mexicano (Grupo Televisa subsidiary) as a Telecommunications Manager from 1994 to 1996.

Francisco Valencia holds a Master's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy. In addition, they obtained a degree in Electronic Systems Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey in the years 1989 to 1994. Francisco also completed high school at Universidad del Instituto Tepeyac de Cuautitlán, S.C. during the years 1984 to 1986. Francisco has obtained several certifications including Digital Transformation from Coursera, CCC Professional Cloud Administrator Certificate from the Cloud Credential Council, AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and TOGAF 9 Certified from The Open Group.
