Carsten Harnisch

Carsten Harnisch is an accomplished engineer and executive with extensive experience in the fields of robotics, energy systems, and quality management. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Robotic Systems Development at KION Group since February 2019, Carsten has also held significant roles such as Managing Director of KION Battery Systems GmbH, where notable achievements include establishing the company as an independent entity and achieving substantial turnover. Previous experience includes over 14 years at Jungheinrich AG, where Carsten contributed to various divisions, ultimately leading the Energy and Drive Systems Division. Carsten has a strong academic background, holding a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Helmut-Schmidt-Universität and completing an executive program at INSEAD.
