Johannes Kastl

Johannes Kastl has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Johannes began their career in 2007 as a Student Worker at Mg.softech GmbH, where they worked on a Finance System. In 2010, they joined SAP as a Student Worker, focusing on Natural Language Processing and Text Data Mining. After completing their studies, they continued working at SAP as a Master Thesis Student before moving on to Daimler TSS in 2011. At Daimler TSS, they worked as an IT Architect, specializing in Software Architecture Consulting and later in Connected Car technology. In 2016, they transitioned to Daimler AG as a Lead Architect and Project Lead for Connected Car projects. Since 2018, Johannes has been with KION Group, where they have held various roles, including Technology & Architecture Lead and Director of Emerging Technologies & Development at KION Digital Campus. Currently, they serve as the Director of Digital Product Development at KION ITS EMEA.

Johannes Kastl completed their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Technische Universität Darmstadt from 2004 to 2007. Johannes then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same institution from 2007 to 2011. In 2008 to 2009, they also studied Computer Science at Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) but did not obtain a degree there. Additionally, Johannes has obtained certifications such as "Certified PAI Architect" from Daimler AG, "Certified Professional Scrum Master (PSM I)" from scrum.org, "Certified Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I)" from scrum.org, and "Certified iSAQB Professional for Software Architecture (CPSA)" from the International Software Architecture Qualification Board.
