Karl Knipfelberg

Karl Knipfelberg has extensive work experience in the field of procurement, product management, and engineering within the forklift industry. Karl currently holds the position of Senior Vice President of Procurement ITS EMEA at KION Group since April 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Vice President of Product Management CB & Energy at KION Group from April 2021 to May 2023. Karl also worked as the Vice President of Product Management STILL EMEA at STILL GmbH from February 2020 to March 2021. Before that, they held the role of Senior Director of Product Development at KION Group from January 2016 to January 2020. Karl also gained experience as the Head of Project at STILL GmbH from September 2010 to December 2016 and as the Head of Engineering at Linde (China) Forklift Truck Co., Ltd. from August 2005 to August 2010. Karl started their career as an Entwicklungsingenieur (development engineer) at STILL GmbH from September 2002 to July 2005 and then at Fenwick-Linde from November 1999 to August 2002.

Karl Knipfelberg completed their education with a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau in 1998. In 2015, they participated in the Kion Executive Development Program at ESMT Berlin. Later, in 2019, they attended the INSEAD Kion Global Executive Program.
