Norbert Moeren

Norbert Moeren currently serves as the IT-Sicherheitsbeauftragter (CISO) at Stiftung kreuznacher diakonie since December 2024. Previously, Moeren held the position of Senior Director Group Data Protection at KION GROUP AG from October 2017, leading data compliance management initiatives across the organization while integrating business, IT, and risk management. Prior experience includes a tenure at Merck Group, where Moeren was Director Corporate Data Privacy and Head of Information Risk Management, implementing a consistent IT Risk Management approach and establishing a groupwide Information Security Management System. Moeren holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Mechanical Engineering from RWTH Aachen University, obtained between 1992 and 1997.
