Tim Kappel is an accomplished IT professional and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the logistics and technology sectors. Currently serving as Director IT BP EMEA and AI Evangelist at KION Group since February 2020, Tim focuses on developing strategic IT-business partnerships and driving digital initiatives in supply chain and logistics. Tim has held various roles, including Founder of Pryme Marketing, where Tim developed an online shop platform for local businesses, and Expert for Artificial Intelligence at Mittelstand 4.0-Kompetenzzentrum Saarbrücken, leading workshops on AI implementation for SMEs. With a strong educational background in Systems Engineering and Materials Science from Universität des Saarlandes, Tim has a proven track record in project management, digitization, and innovation.
