Assaf Sella

Assaf Sella is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in machine learning, wireless connectivity, and product development. Currently serving as VP of Machine Learning R&D at KIOXIA Group since June 2020, Assaf leads AI research aimed at enhancing Flash memory reliability. Previously, Assaf co-founded and served as CEO of Kytera, an Israeli startup that created an AI-driven remote monitoring solution for elder care, recognized as a CES 2020 Innovation Award Honoree. Earlier roles include CTO of Wireless Connectivity Solutions at Texas Instruments, where Assaf managed global mobile connectivity research, and key positions at Wisair, GlobespanVirata, and Israeli Military Intelligence's Unit 8200, earning the Israel Defense Award. Assaf holds an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.
