KIP Real Estate Investment Trust (KIP REIT)

Listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad since 6 February 2017, KIP REIT primarily invests in income-producing real estate properties for retail purposes. With an updated investment policy from 12 October 2020, KIP REIT now includes industrial and commercial properties in its portfolio, enhancing its Real Estate-Related Assets. The principal investment objective is to provide unitholders with regular and stable income distributions through sustainable income and capital growth.

Managed by KIP REIT Management Sdn Bhd, the REIT focuses on strategic asset management and investment. KIP REIT’s properties are strategically located in suburban areas, offering a variety of retail options through its 7 KIPMalls and 1 AEON Mall, known for their convenience and affordability.

In its diversification strategy, KIP REIT expanded into the industrial sector with 3 properties in Pulau Indah, Klang, Selangor, acquired on 12 July 2022. The REIT aims to sustain growth by exploring industrial and commercial properties, ensuring stable rental yield and capital appreciation.

As of 31 March 2024, KIP REIT boasts a net lettable area of 2.08 million square feet and assets under management valued at RM1.05 billion. On 5 March 2024, KIP REIT introduced a new logo, symbolising its commitment to robust growth, innovation, and sustainability.
