Chrisheena Hill

Chrisheena Hill is an experienced educational leader currently serving as School Principal and Director of Literacy at KIPP Capital Region Public Schools since July 2020. Hill has held various leadership roles, including Board Member and Academic Committee Chair at Destine Prep Charter School, and has contributed as an Adjunct Professor at The College of Saint Rose. Previous experience includes serving as Academic Director and Instructional Coach at Albany Community Charter School, and Dean of Instruction at Ascend Learning Charter Schools. As English Department Chair and Secondary English Teacher at Albany Leadership Charter High School for Girls, responsibilities included developing Common Core-aligned curricula and mentoring teachers. Early career experience includes teaching English at Buffalo Public Schools and the New York City Department of Education. Educational accomplishments include a Master of Education in School Leadership from Niagara University, a Master of Science in Education from Canisius College, and a Bachelor of Arts in English from Spelman College.
