Ellen Sale has a diverse and extensive work experience. Ellen started their career in 2001 as a 5th Grade Teacher at Teach For America, where they later took on various leadership roles and became a Program Director. In 2007, they joined Noble Schools as a World History & AP Teacher. Ellen then joined KIPP Chicago in 2012, where they served as the Founding Principal of KIPP Bloom College Prep. Ellen later held the positions of Head of Talent and currently holds the role of Head of People at KIPP Chicago.
Ellen Sale holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Africana Studies from Grinnell College. Additionally, from 2012 to 2013, they pursued a degree in MA-Educational Leadership in Partnership with KIPP Foundation from National Louis University.
