KIPP Colorado Public Schools
Justin Vigil has a diverse work experience, starting with their current position as the Chief Operations & Strategy Officer at KIPP Colorado Public Schools since July 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Chief of Staff at the same organization from September 2021 to July 2022.
Prior to joining KIPP Colorado Public Schools, Justin worked at YES Prep Public Schools for ten years, starting in October 2011. During their time there, they held various positions, including Managing Director of School Operations from March 2020 to September 2021, Director of School Operations from July 2018 to February 2020, Director of Campus Operations from November 2013 to June 2018, and Registrar from October 2011 to October 2013.
Before joining YES Prep Public Schools, Justin worked as a Program Coordinator at Prevent Blindness Texas from January 2009 to October 2011.
Justin Vigil is currently pursuing a Master's in Public Education Management from the Yale School of Management, which they are expected to complete in 2024. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Texas A&M University in 2008.
