NaThayai is an educator at heart and brings over twenty years of experience from public education and the private sector as a senior leader in L&D. At the beginning of her career, NaThayai was a secondary English teacher in Aldine ISD and eventually became an assistant principal in Conroe ISD. After ten years in education, NaThayai expanded her skill set in the retail industry by creating and leading leadership development programs and becoming a cross-functional business partner to optimize employee performance and achieve business priorities. This career journey has afforded Ms. Watts the opportunity to live her passion and purpose - inspire others' potential and support their development.

NaThayai is a Louisiana native and proud graduate of Southern University and A&M College (Bachelors) and Texas Southern University (Masters).

As the Director of Talent Development, NaThayai:

- Designs and supports professional development programs for HDQ staff

- Leads and facilitates Emerging Leaders Management Series for new HDQ managers

- Leads and manages HDQ Performance Review Process

- Co-leads the retention and recognition strategy for HDQ staff
