Berry Brooks

Berry Brooks has a diverse work experience that spans over two decades. Berry has held various roles in different organizations, including KIPP Nashville Public Schools, YMCA of Middle Tennessee, Margaret Maddox Family YMCA, Bridge Program of YMCA, Vanderbilt Athletics -- National Commodore Club, and Vanderbilt University.

At KIPP Nashville Public Schools, Berry served as the Managing Director of Development, where they led all advancement activities external to the schools. Their responsibilities included fundraising, marketing and public relations, government relations, volunteerism, and community development.

At YMCA of Middle Tennessee, they worked as the Regional Development Director, providing direct fundraising and internal coaching/consulting for multiple YMCA centers. Berry played a key role in grant implementation, program leadership, fundraising, and event management.

As the Executive Director of Margaret Maddox Family YMCA, Berry was responsible for people management, vision casting, fundraising, and financial management. Berry successfully managed and balanced a significant budget and increased annual giving.
