Diane Thompson has extensive experience in educational leadership and instructional support. Currently serving as Assistant Principal at KIPP Nashville Public Schools since July 2017, Diane has focused on driving instruction and collaborating with teachers. Previous roles include Instructional Coach, where support was provided for teacher development, and Biology Teacher, emphasizing high academic standards. Additionally, Diane has served as Science Department Chair, overseeing curriculum alignment and professional development. Prior to KIPP Nashville, Diane worked with the Jon Curtis Student Enrichment Fund as Application Coordinator and held various leadership positions in academic and enrichment roles, including Chapter President at Pi Beta Phi and Program Mentor at Inspire North Carolina. Diane holds a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education and an undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
