Javion Simmons is a marketing and communications professional with significant experience in digital engagement and media production. Currently serving as the Manager of Marketing and Communications at KIPP Nashville Public Schools since July 2022, Javion previously held roles as Digital Engagement Director and Digital Media Producer at WKRN News 2 from August 2017 to July 2022. An early career opportunity as an intern at The Tennessee Tribune Newspaper from June 2016 to October 2016 provided foundational experience in journalism. Javion earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mass Communication/Media Studies from Tennessee State University, graduating in 2016.
