Nigel Palmer

Nigel Palmer is a dedicated educator with extensive experience in special education at KIPP New Orleans since June 2016, fulfilling roles as a Special Education Teacher, Resident Teacher, and Intern. Additionally, Nigel contributed as a Communications Intern at Xavier University of Louisiana, where responsibilities included developing a public relations campaign focused on sustainability. Previous experience encompasses positions such as Sales Associate at Winn-Dixie, PR Intern for Turner Sports during All-Star Weekend in New Orleans, and contributing writer for both Data News Weekly and XULA Herald. An on-air talent at Xavier University Television and a production assistant for the Prospect New Orleans Workshop with Kalup Linzy further demonstrate diverse skills in communication and media. Nigel holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Xavier University of Louisiana, completed in 2018.
