Albert Wang

AP Government/economics Teacher at KIPP Northern California

Albert Wang has a diverse work experience in the education field. Albert started their career at The Harker School in 2018, where they worked as a Teacher Assistant for a year. In 2020, they joined Genius Academy as an English Teacher for six months. Later that year, they joined KIPP Public Schools Northern California as an Associate Teacher. In this role, they supported students academically and socio-emotionally. Albert also utilized Universal Design for Learning strategies to promote equitable instruction. Currently, Albert is working at KIPP Public Schools as an AP Government/Economics Teacher, where they teach seniors and focuses on holistic student check-ins and long-term planning.

Albert Wang completed their education in the following chronological order:

From 2015 to 2019, Albert Wang attended San Jose State University, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science Teacher Education. During the same period, they also obtained a minor in Japanese.

In June 2018, Albert Wang obtained a CPR, AED & First Aid Certification from The Harker School.

From 2020 to 2022, Albert Wang pursued a Master of Arts degree in Social Science Teacher Education at the University of San Francisco.

Finally, Albert Wang is currently in the process of completing a Doctor of Education - EdD program in International and Multicultural Education, with a concentration in Racial Justice and Education, at the University of San Francisco. Albert started this program in 2022 and is expected to finish in 2027.
