Beth Thompson

Beth Thompson is a seasoned leader in education and nonprofit management, currently serving as the Founder and CEO of KIPP Public Schools Northern California since July 2006. Previously, Beth held roles at the KIPP Foundation, including Executive in Residence for Development & Alumni Impact and Executive Coach for Regional Leadership from October 2021 to July 2023, and served as a West Coast Trailblazer from July 2002 to June 2004. Earlier experience includes a position as Senior Venture Analyst at NewSchools Venture Fund from July 1999 to June 2002. Beth holds an MBA with a Certificate in Nonprofit Management and a Master's in Educational Leadership and Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and Stanford University Graduate School of Education, respectively, in addition to a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government from Stanford University.
