Gianna Marciarille

Gianna Marciarille has a diverse work experience in education and international exchange. In their most recent role at KIPP Public Schools Northern California, they serve as a Data Operations Manager for Special Education, managing data for approximately 800 students and overseeing data uploads to state systems. Gianna also presented at a conference on utilizing state data for identifying incoming Special Education students.

Prior to that, at EFBA French Education Bay Area, Gianna held multiple positions, including Operations Manager and Operations Coordinator. As an Operations Manager, they served as a system administrator for a student information system and implemented an attendance log auditing system. Gianna also trained teachers on updated attendance portals. In their role as an Operations Coordinator, they implemented a new scheduling system for language assessments and managed applications for Covid-19 relief programs, securing $290,000 in emergency funds.

Before joining EFBA, Gianna worked as a Student Services Intern at CIEE Council on International Educational Exchange. Gianna assisted international students in submitting J-1 visa applications, completed data entry in Salesforce, and extended their original three-month internship by six additional months due to their ability to work independently in a remote-first team.

Gianna Marciarille completed their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Amherst College, which they attended from 2011 to 2018. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Data Analytics, Managing to Change the World, Managing Projects, and Foundations of Project Management. Gianna received the certification in Foundations of Project Management in June 2021 from Coursera | Google, and the remaining certifications were obtained in 2023 from General Assembly and The Management Center.
