Jessica Miranda

Jessica Miranda has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jessica started their career as a Group Sales & Event Coordinator Supervisor at Raging Waters, where they worked from June 2002 to June 2006. Jessica then worked as a Sales and Events Manager at DoubleTree by Hilton from June 2006 to August 2008.

In August 2008, Jessica joined Leadership Public Schools as the Director of Operations & School Activities. During their time there, they managed school site operations, served on the Administration Team, and supervised a team of Office Assistants. Jessica held this role until June 2011.

Following their tenure at Leadership Public Schools, Jessica joined Summit Public Schools (Public Charter Network) in June 2011. Jessica started as the Founding Operations Manager and played a key role in mentoring and advocating for students, managing attendance reports and audits, and supporting the administration team. Jessica also managed enrollment, food services, and the monthly office supply budget. In July 2014, Jessica transitioned into the role of Human Resources Manager, where they were responsible for recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and ensuring compliance with safety procedures. Jessica held this position until July 2016. In July 2016, Jessica became an Operations Manager, where they continued to support the administration team, manage non-instructional employees, and handle discipline policies. Jessica also managed food service, school health and safety, office supplies, technology inventory, and facilities. Jessica took on the role of Dean of Operations in June 2017, where they expanded their responsibilities to include managing student culture interventions, executing events for the school, and training truancy policies and procedures. Jessica remained in this role until June 2019.

In May 2019, Jessica joined KIPP Bay Area Public Schools as the Assistant Principal of Operations, where they handled discipline policies and supported the administration team. Jessica also managed food service, school health and safety, office supplies, technology inventory, facilities, and scheduling. In May 2020, they were promoted to Director of School Operations and continued to fulfill these responsibilities. Jessica transitioned to KIPP Public Schools Northern California in May 2021 as the Founding Director of School Operations, where they currently work.

Jessica Miranda attended San Jose State University from 2002 to 2007, although the degree and field of study are unknown. Later, from 2012 to 2016, they pursued and completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at Charter College. No specific field of study was mentioned for their BBA degree.
