Lacey Farley

Associate Director Of Special Education at KIPP Northern California

Lacey Farley has a diverse work experience in the education sector. Lacey started their career in 2009 as a Team Leader at Jumpstart, where they worked until 2013. In 2013, they joined Community Academy Public Charter School as a Lead Teacher until 2015. Simultaneously, they also worked as a Teaching Fellow at Urban Teacher Center from 2013 to 2016. In 2015, Lacey Farley took on the role of Lead Teacher at DC Bilingual Public Charter School for a year. Lacey then joined KIPP Public Schools Northern California in 2016 as a Lead Teacher and gradually progressed to the positions of Education Specialist, Lead Education Specialist, and Special Education Program Specialist. Currently, Lacey Farley is serving as the Associate Director of Special Education at KIPP Public Schools Northern California.

Lacey Farley has a strong educational background with degrees in education and history. Lacey completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in History and American Studies at Boston College from 2009 to 2013. Following that, they pursued a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Elementary Education (K-6) and Teacher of Students with Moderate Disabilities (K-8) at Lesley University from 2013 to 2015. In 2021, Lacey enrolled at San Francisco State University to further enhance their education by pursuing a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Educational Administration & Administrative Services Credential Tier I, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
