Ronald Douglas

Special Education Teacher at KIPP Northern California

Ronald Douglas has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ronald co-founded the Race Continues Track Club in 2022 and is currently involved in its operations. In the same year, they became a Physical Education Teacher at Notre Dame Belmont. Prior to that, Ronald worked as a Special Education Teacher at KIPP Public Schools Northern California starting in 2020. From 2019 to 2020, they worked at 24 Hour Fitness, initially as a Fitness Manager Trainee and later as a Fitness Manager. Ronald's earlier experience includes coaching as a Corners Coach at Azusa Pacific University from 2015 to 2018 and serving as a Management Trainee at Enterprise Rent-A-Car from 2015 to 2016. Additionally, they were a sprinter for the Azusa Pacific Track Team from 2011 to 2015 and played as a Defensive Back for the Azusa Pacific Football Team from 2011 to 2014. Ronald also has experience working as a Camp Counselor at Loveland Youth Retreat for a brief period in 2014.

Ronald Douglas obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Psychology from Azusa Pacific University, which they attended from 2011 to 2015. Afterward, they pursued a Master's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Leadership & Sports Management from Azusa Pacific University, completing it from 2016 to 2018. Ronald then furthered their education by obtaining a Master's degree in Special Education and Teaching from National University, which they pursued from 2020 to 2022. In addition to their formal education, Ronald has obtained several certifications, including the National Society of Leadership and Success from NSLS Baruch in March 2023, the Provisional Internship Permit from California TECA in August 2020, and the Certificate of Clearance from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing in April 2016.
