Shaniqua Freeman

Shaniqua Freeman, LMSW, currently serves as the Regional Director of After School at KIPP NYC, a position held since October 2021, after progressing through various roles within the organization. Previous experience includes program management at the NYC Department of Youth & Community Development and program director positions at KIPP NYC. Shaniqua's extensive background in youth and community development is further augmented by roles at Partnership with Children and Grand Street Settlement, ranging from site director to program coordinator. Shaniqua's educational credentials include a Doctor of Philosophy in Developmental Psychology from Liberty University, a Master of Social Work with a focus on Leadership in Organizations and Communities from Alliance University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Alliance University, complemented by an Associate's degree in Psychology from CUNY Hostos Community College.
