Amanda Neill

MD of Student Supports at KIPP Philadelphia Schools

Amanda Neill serves as the Managing Director of Student Supports at KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools where she drives special education and responsive support programming across the region. Most recently, Amanda served as the Director of Teaching, Learning and Global Education for an independent school in Wilmington, Delaware where she collaborated on strategic planning, managed a dual-accreditation process, and built a robust global education program which was recently awarded an award of distinction by the Middle States Association. Her work in global education focused on cultural immersion and global competency with a focus on identity of self within the world; some of her favorite experiences include service learning in Ecuador and Peru, school-to-school partnerships in South Africa and Germany, and language immersion in France and Italy. Following a 5 year career in Arts Management, Amanda began her education career at Mastery Charter Schools in 2005 as the Director of Internship Program and secondary English teacher. Over 10 years, she grew to serve as an Assistant Principal of Special Education, Director of Academic Interventions, and Interim Deputy Chief of Specialized Services. Amanda holds a Bachelors degree from Indiana University and Masters degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education from Chestnut Hill College; she is also a proud Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar.
