Camille Lafayette has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Starting in 2008, they worked as an Administrative Coordinator/Praxis Developer for the Students Heightening Academic Performance through Education: Student Access Project, where they supervised staff and implemented a new tracking system. In 2010, they served as a Campus Programs Committee Board Member for the UCLA Department of Student Affairs, overseeing budget proposals and disbursing funds. Camille then joined The Research Alliance for New York City Schools in 2012 as a Research Intern, conductiing secondary research and supporting data collection. Camille progressed to the role of Junior Research Analyst, where they managed survey administration and prepared research reports. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as a Research Analyst, co-authoring publications, co-creating survey measures, and advising the New York City Department of Education. Camille'smost recent employment is with the KIPP Foundation, where they have held roles as Insights Analyst, Insights Manager, Senior Insight Manager, and currently as Director of Data & Analytics.

Camille Lafayette completed their Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) in Public Policy Analysis from NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service in 2013.
