Liz Baker Meehan

Liz Baker Meehan, Ed.M. has a diverse range of work experience in the field of development and donor relations. Liz most recently served as the Vice President of Development at the KIPP Foundation, a position they have held since July 2022. Prior to this role, Liz worked at the KIPP Foundation as the Senior Director of Development from November 2012 to July 2022, and as the Director of Development from October 2010 to December 2012.

Before joining the KIPP Foundation, Liz served as the Director of Foundation and Corporate Relations at the KIPP Foundation from September 2007 to May 2010. Prior to this, they worked at Harvard University as the Associate Director of FAS Donor Relations from July 2003 to August 2007. Liz began their career as the Director of Annual Giving at Cathedral School for Boys from July 2001 to June 2003.

Liz also has experience outside of the education sector, as they previously worked as the National Sales Manager at the National Educational Travel Council (NETC) from July 1997 to June 2001. Liz Baker Meehan, Ed.M. obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English Literature and Education from Colby College, graduating in 1997. Prior to that, they attended Brattleboro Union High School from 1989 to 1993. Liz then pursued their Master's in Education (Ed.M.) with a focus on Education, Policy, and Management at Harvard Graduate School of Education, completing their degree in 2006. In 2011, Liz participated in an Executive Education Program on Developing Leaders at Columbia University Graduate School of Business. Additionally, in 1996, they completed a program in Comparative Literature at UCL.
