Noel Mullen

Vice President, Event Design And Operations at KIPP Schools

Noel Mullen has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Noel began their career as a Second Grade Teacher at Kingswood Elementary School in 2000, before moving on to become a Second Grade Teacher via Teach for America at District of Columbia Public Schools (DCPS) in 2001. Afterward, they joined KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools as a Founding 5th Grade Math Teacher from 2003 to 2005. Noel then took on the role of Assistant Principal at the same school from 2005 to 2007.

From 2008 onwards, Noel joined the KIPP Foundation, where they held various positions. Noel started as an Independent Contractor in 2008 and later served as an Instructional Sharing Specialist from 2009 to 2011. Noel then progressed to become a Manager of KIPP Share from 2010 to 2013 and subsequently a Senior Manager of KIPP Share from 2013 to 2014. Eventually, they became the Director of KIPP School Summit from 2014 to 2018 and Senior Director of Event Design and Operations from 2018 to the present time. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Event Design and Operations at the KIPP Foundation, as of July 2022.

Noel Mullen obtained a Master's degree in Leadership in Education from National Louis University in 2005-2006. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from The Catholic University of America from 1997-2000. In 1992-1996, they graduated from Benet Academy with a High School Diploma. There is no information available about their degree or field of study from the University of Iowa in 1996.
