Teresa Velasquez

Teresa Velasquez has over a decade of experience in event design and operations. Teresa is currently the Director of Event Design and Operations at the KIPP Foundation, a position they have held since 2024. Prior to that role, they served as the Senior Manager of Event Design and Operations from 2017 to 2024. Teresa also has experience in project coordination and management, as they were the KSLP Operations Project Coordinator from 2012 to 2015 and then progressed to become the Manager of KSLP Operations from 2015 to 2017. Before joining the KIPP Foundation, they were the Director of the KIPP Alumni Association at KIPP, Inc. from 2009 to 2012.

Teresa Velasquez earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Rochester Institute of Technology in the years 2003 to 2007. Teresa then pursued a Master's in Business Administration with a focus on Marketing at the University of St. Thomas (TX) from 2007 to 2009.
