Wendy Hassett has a diverse range of work experience in the education and nonprofit sectors. Wendy has held various roles at the KIPP Foundation, including Senior Director of Development Communications, where they led the development and launch of an externally-facing fundraising website and authored numerous grant proposals generating over $400 million for the foundation. Prior to that, they worked as an independent consultant for the KIPP Foundation, leading investment concept strategy and proposal development and overseeing grant reporting. Wendy also worked as an independent consultant for The Broad Center, conducting research, developing curriculum, and supporting recruitment efforts for education programs. Additionally, Wendy has experience at The Eli and Edythe Broad Foundation as a Program Analyst, where they collaborated with program officers and supported grantee success through strategic analyses and site visits. Wendy also served as the Grants Manager, improving operations and administration of the education grants portfolio. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Development Coordinator at The George Washington University and as a Manager of Operations & Special Projects at Voter.com, enhancing the company's brand presence and managing office operations. Wendy's experience also includes serving as an Education Coordinator at the WHITE HOUSE FELLOWS FOUNDATION, where they developed and managed the education program for a prestigious fellowship program.
