Maureen Murray

Maureen Murray is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in development, strategic messaging, and public relations. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Development Communications at Boston University since May 2022, Maureen previously held several key positions at INSEAD from January 2016 to August 2022, including Director of Advancement and Campaign Communications. There, Maureen formulated comprehensive communication strategies to promote the school's capital campaign and engaged alumni and prospective donors. Additionally, Maureen's career includes significant roles at MTM Works, where strategic and creative direction was provided for various organizations, and at the Whitehead Institute, focusing on messaging for one of the top biomedical institutions globally. Maureen holds a Bachelor of Arts in English and Psychology from Williams College and a Master of Fine Arts in Writing and Literature from Bennington College.
