Janeethe Yarahuan

Janeethe Yarahuan has a strong background in education and after-school programs. Janeethe began their career in 2010 as a Program Specialist at After-School All-Stars, Los Angeles, where they worked until 2015. In this role, they gained valuable experience in program coordination and student support.

In 2015, Janeethe joined KIPP SoCal Public Schools and took on the role of After School Coordinator at KIPP Academy of Innovation in East Los Angeles. During their time in this position, they successfully founded and developed the after-school program, hiring and training a team of 6 staff members. Under their leadership, the program provided high-quality programming to underserved students.

In 2017, Janeethe was promoted to Senior Associate, After School Programs at KIPP SoCal. In this role, they oversaw compliance and quality for 10 after-school programs and provided support, training, and coaching to a team of 10 Coordinators. Janeethe also created exceptional guides and resources for KIPP LA programs to ensure excellence in implementation.

In 2019, Janeethe became the Public Programs Manager, After School Programs at KIPP SoCal, where they continued their work in program management and development. Janeethe held this position until 2021 when they were promoted to Associate Director of Expanded Learning. In 2022, they further advanced in their career and became the Director of Expanded Learning at KIPP SoCal Public Schools.

Janeethe Yarahuan's experience demonstrates their expertise in creating and managing after-school programs, as well as their ability to provide oversight, support, and training to teams.

Janeethe Yarahuan attended UC Irvine from 2013 to 2015 where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Sociology.
