Megan Szabo

Director Of Staff & Strategic Projects at KIPP SoCal Public Schools

Megan Szabo has an extensive work experience in various roles and organizations. Megan started their career in 2008 as a Teacher/Corps Member at Teach For America, where they worked until 2010. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at KIPP SoCal Public Schools as a School & Regional Business Operations Manager. Megan then transitioned to the role of Assistant School Leader from 2014 to 2016. Following that, Megan served as the Director of Talent Development at KIPP SoCal Public Schools from 2016 to 2021. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Staff & Strategic Projects at the same organization. In 2019, Megan was also a member of the Women in Leadership Cohort at Coro Southern California.

Megan Szabo attended the University of Southern California from 2004 to 2008, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business. In 2007, they also participated in a study abroad program at Copenhagen Business School, focusing on International Strategic Management Studies. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue a Master of Arts degree in Urban Education, Educational Policy & Administration at Loyola Marymount University from 2008 to 2010.
