Jovanny Orellana

Jovanny Orellana has extensive experience in development and educational programming, currently serving as the Deputy Chief of Advancement at KIPP Texas Public Schools since July 2015, where responsibilities include leading fundraising efforts to achieve a $6 million goal and collaborating with various teams to manage donor relations. Previously, Orellana held multiple roles within KIPP Texas Public Schools, including Development Manager and Program Manager for College Access, supporting non-KIPP high school students. Prior experience includes providing social work services at DePelchin Children's Center and administrative support at the Rural Development and Finance Corporation. Orellana holds a BA in Psychology and Mexican American Studies from The University of Texas at Austin and is pursuing Leadership for Nonprofit Excellence training.
