Leah Branderhorst

Leah Branderhorst is a seasoned educator and school operations leader with extensive experience in the KIPP network. Currently serving as the Regional Director of School Operations for KIPP Texas Public Schools since June 2023, Leah previously held the position of Regional Manager of School Operations. Leah's background includes roles as Assistant Principal at KIPP Austin Academy of Arts & Letters from July 2017 to June 2023 and as a 6th grade English Language Arts teacher at KIPP Austin Public Schools from June 2013 to July 2017. Leah began the teaching career as a 7th/8th Language Arts Teacher at Mountain Vista Community School, where a focus on improving student test scores and literacy skills in a low-income environment was paramount. Leah earned a Bachelor of Science in English Education from Trinity Christian College in 2011.
