Rona Simmons

Rona Simmons, Ed.D. currently serves as the Deputy Chief of School Transformation & Academic Recovery at KIPP Texas Public Schools, a position held since July 2018, and additionally acts as Head of Schools, Lead Learner, and Coach. Prior to this role, Rona Simmons worked at Houston ISD as Officer of School Support from July 2014 to June 2018 and served as a Principal at Chicago Public Schools from 2010 to 2014. Rona Simmons earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Educational Policy and Leadership from The University of Texas at Austin between 2015 and 2017.
