John Hall

John Hall has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. John currently holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at Kipu Health since 2020. Prior to that, they worked at Sensus as a Senior Software Engineer from 2016 to 2020. During their tenure at Sensus, they gained experience in database application development for utilities and was involved in all phases of the software development life cycle.

Before joining Sensus, John worked at Lockheed Martin as a System Software Development Analyst, Staff from 2000 to 2016. At Lockheed Martin, they served as a technical lead for a team developing front and back-end components of Oracle database applications for tiered environments. John has proficiency in various technologies including SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, C#, Java, Bash, Microsoft Windows, Linux, Python, Ruby on Rails, Oracle Forms and Reports, Oracle WebLogic, Visual Basic, and different operating systems like Linux, Solaris, Unix, and AIX. John is experienced in all phases of the software development life cycle.

John Hall obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Strayer University, where they studied from 2006 to 2008. In addition to their degree, John also obtained several certifications, including the edX Honor Code Certificate for Computation Structures - Part 1: Digital Circuits, the edX Honor Code Certificate for ISSCC Previews - Circuit and System Insights, the edX Honor Code Certificate for Learning From Data (introductory Machine Learning course), the edX Honor Code Certificate for Software as a Service, Part 2, the edX Honor Code Certificate for Cyber-Physical Systems, the edX Honor Code Certificate for Engineering Software as a Service, and the edX Honor Code Certificate for Embedded Systems - Shape the World. Additionally, John obtained certifications in Introduction to Engineering Mechanics, Cryptography I, Neural Networks for Machine Learning, and the edX Honor Code Certificate for Scalable Machine Learning.
