Dan Nutt is a seasoned professional in regulatory affairs and safety management within the maritime industry, currently serving as the Director of Regulatory Affairs at Kirby since April 2012. Nutt has a robust background, previously holding similar director roles at K-Sea Transportation and Sirius Maritime, where responsibilities included compliance oversight, regulatory analysis, and developing safety management systems. With earlier positions as Director of Safety and Regulatory Affairs at Sea Coast Towing and Towing Vessel Master at Olympic Tug and Barge, Nutt also served for over a decade in the U.S. Coast Guard, where experiences included significant leadership roles and operational management.
