Nick Porfilio has a diverse work experience spanning from 2005 to 2019. Nick co-founded and served as the CEO of Kiri, a company that developed the world's first smart wooden block for children's learning without a screen. Kiri gained recognition for its achievements, including being named TIME Best Invention of 2020. Prior to Kiri, Nick co-founded Saveful and Shortsort, where they held leadership roles. Nick also worked as a Summer Associate at China Growth Capital in 2010. Earlier in their career, Nick worked as an Analyst in the Strategic Acquisitions Group at Morgan Stanley, where they executed multi-billion-dollar transactions in the asset management and wealth management divisions. Nick gained experience as an Intern in Equity Research at Lehman Brothers and Economic Policy Researcher in the Office of Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton.

Nick Porfilio has an extensive education history. Nick holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA), with a focus on Finance and International Business, from Georgetown University. Nick also earned a Master of Arts (ALM) from Harvard University, specializing in Information Technology. Nick further pursued their education at Stanford University, where they obtained a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical Engineering. Additionally, they completed coursework in Accounting and Finance at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Finally, Nick Porfilio went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
