Felicia Binks

Director, Environment & Government Relations - Australia at Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd

Felicia Binks has over 20 years of experience in the mining industry, working in both Australia and Canada. Felicia has a strong background in environmental management and community relations, and has held several senior positions in these areas.

Felicia started their career as a Project Metallurgist with Renison Pty Ltd in 1994. Felicia then moved to Placer Dome, where they worked as a Metallurgical Coordinator for four years. In 2007, they joined Northgate Minerals Australia as an Environmental Officer. Felicia remained with Northgate until 2011, when they joined Kirkland Lake Gold as the Environment & Community Superintendent. Felicia has been with Kirkland Lake Gold for the past six years and is currently the Director of Environment & Government Relations for the company.

Felicia Binks has a background in metallurgy from Federation University Australia, where they completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc). Felicia followed this with graduate diplomas in environmental management and land rehabilitation from Monash University and the University of Ballarat, respectively. Currently, they are completing a Certificate in Engagement through IAP2 International Association for Public Participation Australasia. Her eventual goal is to work in Indigenous Cultural Heritage Management in the Australian resources sector.

Felicia Binks reports to Ion Hann, Vice President, Australian Operations. Felicia Binks works with Troy Fuller - Director of Exploration, Australia, Tim Davis - Director, Technical Services, Australia, and Amanda Kasner - Director, Finance, Australia.
