Catherine Callaway

Catherine is a long-time advocate of resilient design strategies, which has defined her career and inspired her community and industry involvement. Her experience as an architect and community leader enhances Kirksey's leadership in high-performance design and informs her role as Director of Sustainability and Building Performance. She is deeply involved in green building advocacy in the region and has led committees with the AIA, Texas Society of Architects, Rice Design Alliance, and the City of Houston Green Building Resource Center. Her dedication and commitment to the industry have garnered multiple awards, including the 2020 National AIA Young Architect Award, 2019 AIA Houston Ben Brewer Award, and the 2019 Texas Society of Architects Honor Award for Young Professional Achievement.
