Sandip Talapatra

Sandip Talapatra is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in international business and sales management within the power generation sector. Currently serving as Senior General Manager and Head of International PowerGen Business at Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited since October 2023, Sandip previously held multiple leadership roles at Mahindra Group from July 2006 to October 2023, including Deputy General Manager overseeing international business for Mahindra Powerol across various global markets. Notably, Sandip successfully scaled operations in diverse regions such as SAARC, ASEAN, and GCC, while launching initiatives in telecom markets in Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka. Prior to tenure at Mahindra, Sandip gained valuable experience in sales engineering at ELGI Equipments Limited and Press Tools Engineering Works. Sandip holds an MBA in Marketing from JDC BytCo Institute of Management Studies and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from SES College of Engineering.
