Joshua Kellner has a diverse work experience in the field of biopharmaceuticals and scientific consulting. Joshua is currently serving as the Senior Director of Manufacturing Science & Technology at Kiromic Biopharma, Inc., where they are responsible for overseeing manufacturing processes, managing the Tech Transfer of products into GMP, and preparing CMC documentation for filing.

Prior to their current role, Joshua worked as an Independent Scientific Consultant at Biostem Scientific Consulting, specializing in stem cell biology, cell therapy, and regenerative medicine. Joshua provided expertise in preclinical development and translational study design, supporting the execution of projects for clinical development.

Joshua also served as a Field Application Scientist at Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies, where they worked from April 2021 to February 2022. Before that, they worked as a Senior Scientist at InGeneron from April 2019 to April 2021. In this role, they developed research projects to study regenerative cell products and supported ongoing clinical trials in the United States and Europe. Joshua also contributed to the improvement, development, and validation of InGeneron's proprietary technology and prepared scientific manuscripts and FDA submissions.

During their career, Joshua gained valuable experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at MD Anderson Cancer Center from September 2013 to April 2019. Joshua specialized in cell biology, with a focus on hematopoiesis, stem cells, and cancer stem cells. Joshua was involved in several translational research projects.

Joshua's earlier work experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the Medical University of South Carolina from November 2011 to August 2013. Here, they utilized a murine model of Multiple Myeloma to study the phenotype of Myeloma Cancer Stem Cells and the role of heat shock protein gp96 in maintaining B cell-plasma cell biology. Joshua also contributed to the development of a monoclonal antibody targeting the surface expression of gp96 on tumor cell lines.

Joshua Kellner completed their Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2000 to 2002. Joshua then pursued further education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biomedical Sciences, General from the Medical University of South Carolina, which they completed between 2007 and 2011.
